History

GAME Traffic & Contracting has been delivering high quality services to businesses in northern Victoria for more than 20 years.

From our humble beginnings as a bin-washing service in Shepparton, GAME is now proud to offer a broad range of services across regional Victoria and south New South Wales. As a leader in the social enterprise space, our commercial GAME services enable us to deliver a consistent stream of revenue to programs that help level the playing field for anybody who wants to find a job in communities across regional Victoria and south New South Wales.

 

Timeline

1993

GAME is established as an arm of Worktrainers to provide supported work for local disadvantaged jobseekers – offering a bin washing service in Shepparton.

1994 – 1996

GAME expands services to housing subdivisions outside the immediate Shepparton area.

1997 – 1999

GAME expands the breadth of its services to include office cleaning, gardening & mowing, and irrigation systems assembly.

2000 – 2002

GAME provides more than 30 job starts per year for disadvantaged jobseekers.

2003 – 2005

GAME expands to Wodonga and opens Recovery GAME. The organisation also cemented its expansion by again securing an Office of Housing service contract

2006 – 2008

Traffic Management business commences, based initially in Shepparton and new bin cleaning service established in Echuca.

2009 – 2011

GAME Traffic Management & Contracting fully established, and new depot opens in Bendigo.

2012 – Present

Connect GV transfers “Good Looking Lawns” gardening business to GAME Traffic & Contracting.
